Tasting Note

Concentrated black‑currant and blackberry fruit with tobacco, cedar, dark chocolate and savory smoked notes. Silky yet structured tannins, fresh acidity and a long graphite-tinged finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roasted ribeye, lamb chops, duck confit, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (roast pork), Korean BBQ / beef bulgogi, miso-braised short ribs.


Production Method

Manual harvest with strict plot-by-plot selection; fermentation with temperature control and élevage in French oak (approx. 18–20 months, ~60% new oak).

Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is a historic Deuxième Cru (1855) in Pauillac; bought by Louis Roederer in 2007 and known for gravel soils and Cabernet-dominant, terroir-driven wines.
