Tasting Note
Powerful Pauillac: concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry with graphite, cedar, violet and tobacco. Full-bodied with firm, fine-grained tannins, savory spice, mineral complexity and a long, structured finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, ribeye/steak, braised short ribs, game and aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (galbi), char siu, soy-braised beef or Szechuan beef.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, parcel vinified in temperature-controlled vats; malolactic fermentation; aged 18 months in ~50% new oak barrels with gentle extraction and traditional fining.

1855 Deuxième Cru (Pauillac). Owned by the Rouzaud family (Louis Roederer) since 2007; modernized cellars, parcel selection and managed by Nicolas Glumineau. Gravel soils, vines average ~35 years.
