Pale gold Blanc de Blancs with fine mousse. Citrus, white flowers and chalky minerality on the nose; green apple, pear, hazelnut and fresh almond on the palate, bright acidity and a long, saline, toasty finish.
Food Pairing
Oysters, scallops, caviar, smoked salmon, soft goat cheeses, roast chicken, tempura, sushi/sashimi, light Asian seafood dishes (Thai/Chinese steamed fish), lightly spiced appetizers, fried chicken.
Production Method
Méthode Champenoise: 100% Chardonnay base wines blended with ~40–50% perpetual reserve (solera-like), primary fermentation in tank, aged on lees ≥2 years, disgorged and lightly dosed (~6–7 g/L).
Vineyard Info
Family estate founded 1919 in Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger; ~18–20 ha focused on Côte des Blancs Grand Cru parcels. Rodolphe Péters practices minimal intervention and maintains a perpetual reserve of older vintages.
