Tasting Note

Fresh lime, green apple, white flowers, pastry and toasted brioche; chalky, saline minerality with pinpoint mousse, lively acidity, concentrated core and a long, mineral finish.


Food Pairing

Western: oysters, grilled lobster, roasted chicken, creamy seafood pasta, citrus salads. Asian: sashimi, sushi, tempura, miso‑glazed fish, dim sum, lightly spiced Chinese or Thai seafood dishes.


Production Method

Traditional method (méthode champenoise); 100% Chardonnay vinified in stainless steel with partial malolactic, ~6 years on lees, dosage 3.5–4.5 g/L; hand‑riddled; disgorged May–July 2021.

Family‑run Pierre Péters estate (bottling estate wines since 1919), ~18–19 ha in the Côte des Blancs. Les Chétillons is a three‑plot Grand Cru lieu‑dit in Le Mesnil with old vines (c.40–70+ years).
