Tasting Note
Layered red and black cherry, plum and violet with salty minerality, black tea and spice. Medium-plus body, silky yet firm tannins, energetic acidity and a lingering mineral-tinged finish.

Western: roast duck, mushroom risotto, coq au vin, grilled salmon; Asian: Peking duck, char siu pork, miso-glazed cod, mushroom soba with soy and sesame.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Pinot Noir, native-yeast fermentation, vinified and aged in large clay amphorae (no new oak for amphore cuvée); minimal SO2 added only at bottling.

Domaine de la Pousse d’Or is a historic Volnay estate (ca. 1954), now run by the Landanger family; owns several Volnay monopoles including Clos de la Bousse d’Or.
