Tasting Note
Dense black and red fruits (blackberry, plum), incense, violets and cocoa, with mint/eucalyptus and licorice. Silky yet powerful, cool-toned acidity, firm staining tannins and a long spicy, mineral finish.

Western: grilled or roasted red meats, braised beef, lamb, game, aged cheeses, rich pasta dishes. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi), Chinese red-braised beef, Peking duck, Cantonese char siu, robust Sichuan-style meat dishes.

Production Method
Single-vineyard Aglianico; hand-harvested, fermented ~20–25 days (28–30°C), aged 18–24 months in new oak barriques, then rested in bottle before release.

Quintodecimo, founded 2001 by Prof. Luigi Moio in Mirabella Eclano (Irpinia). Small, terroir-driven estate farming close-to-nature on volcanic/limestone soils, specializing in single-vineyard Aglianico and native whites.
