Tasting Note
Bright, floral and slightly exotic Pinot: red/purplish berries, blood orange, star anise, black cherry, Szechuan pepper, savory herbs and loamy earth. Medium-plus body, supple tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish.

Food Pairing
Roast duck, mushroom risotto, pork belly, grilled salmon, char siu, miso-glazed fish, teriyaki chicken, Korean BBQ, soft cheeses (Brie, Camembert), roasted root vegetables.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; 2019 was fully destemmed, cold-soaked, naturally fermented, pressed to mostly neutral French oak and aged about 14 months; low-intervention, organic/biodynamic-influenced farming.

Vineyard Info
Family Farm (planted 2002) is an east-facing, former Christmas tree farm leased from Stanford. ~6 acres on alluvial clay-loam at 400' elevation; clones include Pommard, Swan, 115 and suitcase selections.
