Tasting Note
Supple, mid-weight Nebbiolo: macerated cherry and strawberry, dried florals (violet), cedar, tar and tobacco with mineral lift; ripe but firm tannins and a fresh, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, braised beef, venison, mushroom risotto, aged Parmigiano. Asian: Peking duck, Korean bulgogi, Sichuan braised pork, miso-glazed fish or shiitake mushroom dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; de-stemmed; spontaneous (indigenous) fermentation with submerged-cap long maceration (~60–90 days); aged ~4–5 years in large neutral botti; bottled unfiltered.

Roagna is a multi-generation Barbaresco producer (Luca Roagna) known for traditional, low-intervention viticulture, old vines and single-cru bottlings (Faset from calcareous clay soils).
