Tasting Note
Dense blackcurrant and blackberry fruit with graphite, licorice, lavender and cedar. Plush, full-bodied texture, silky yet structured tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, beef Wellington, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu or roasted pork, Szechuan beef or mushroom hotpot.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, small‑lot fermentation with extended maceration; matured ~18–24 months in French oak (high % new), then blended and bottled in limited quantities.

Screaming Eagle (founded by Jean Phillips, 1986) is an Oakville cult estate known for tiny production and blockbuster cabs; sold to Stan Kroenke in 2006. The 2012 produced ~820 cases.
