Mature red with blackcurrant and plum, cedar, tobacco, leather and earthy notes; silky texture, medium-full body, fine-grained tannins and a persistent mineral-spice finish.

Production Method

Hand-harvested; fermented in stainless-steel vats with gentle extraction; matured 12–18 months in oak (≈50% new); bottled largely unfined/unfiltered.

Historic Cru Classé estate in Martillac; bought by Daniel & Florence Cathiard in 1990; modernized cellars and moved toward organic/biodynamic practices.
