Medium-full St-Julien: blackcurrant and dark cherry with cedar, pencil-lead, tobacco and dried herbs; firm but mellowed tannins, balanced acidity and a long savory finish.

Production Method

Estate-grown fruit; traditional fermentation with malolactic fermentation, aged ~12–18 months in oak (approximately 50% new oak reported for 1998).
