Tasting Note

Perfumed and powerful: candied violets, plum and black raspberry, underpinned by graphite, garrigue and spice. Silky, layered palate with vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins and a long mineral finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast beef, lamb, venison, duck confit, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ short ribs, braised beef with soy and mushrooms.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; temperature-controlled stainless-steel fermentation; 2019 blended before malolactic fermentation; aged 12–24 months in French oak barriques (≈60–65% new); small proportion in amphorae.

Premier Grand Cru Classé on Saint-Émilion's limestone plateau; ~43 hectares in a single block. Owned by SCOR since 2017 with Aymeric de Gironde as technical director; emphasis on gentler vinification and sustainable practices.
