Tasting Note
Red and black currant, cassis and plum with spring flowers, graphite, cedar, tobacco and dark chocolate. Elegant, polished palate with silky yet firm tannins, bright acidity, medium–full body and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, mushroom risotto. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi/bulgogi), Chinese char siu or Cantonese roasted meats, Japanese yakiniku or miso-marinated beef.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; small-lot fermentation with minimalist intervention. Blended (~90% Cab Sauv, plus Cab Franc and Petit Verdot) and aged ~20 months in French oak (≈70% new); finished and bottled at Dominus facilities.

Vineyard Info
Ulysses Vineyard, acquired by Christian Moueix in 2008, sits on Oakville bench’s alluvial fan with deep gravelly clay-loam soils. Managed by the Moueix/Dominus team; certified organic in 2021; focused on low yields and site expression.
