Concentrated black cherry, cassis and plum with violet florals, baking spice, loam and oyster‑shell minerality; velvety powdery tannins, bright acidity and a long, saline, iron‑tinged finish.

Western: roast duck, venison, beef bourguignon, braised short rib, aged Comté and mushroom risotto. Asian: hoisin or Peking duck, char siu pork, miso‑glazed eggplant, soy‑braised short rib, shiitake and bok choy dishes.

Domaine des Lambrays owns most (≈8.66 ha) of the historic Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru; purchased by LVMH in 2014. Jacques Devauges modernised the vineyard and cellar from 2019, emphasising lower yields and parcel vinification.
