Food Pairing: Western: braised short ribs, roasted lamb, truffle pasta, aged Pecorino, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, bulgogi (Korean BBQ), spicy Szechuan beef, rich Japanese sukiyaki.
Vineyard Info: Poderi Aldo Conterno, family estate in Monforte d'Alba founded by Aldo Conterno; Cicala is a Bussia cru with Lampia and Michet clones, ~40–50-year-old vines on clay-calcareous soils, south–southwest exposure; production about 800 cases per vintage.
