Tasting Note
Concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry with plum, violet, cedar, tobacco and sweet spice; ultra-fine, grainy tannins and lively Tuscan acidity lead to a long, polished finish (ageworthy).

Western: roast beef, braised short ribs, lamb, aged Pecorino/Parmigiano, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (galbi), char siu, Sichuan-style beef, grilled lamb skewers.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, selected grapes; destemmed and fermented separately with gentle punchdowns/delestage (~27°C). Matured in French oak barriques/tonneaux before final blending and bottle aging.

Produced by Marchesi Antinori from the south‑west Solaia plot at Tenuta Tignanello; estate wine first made in 1978 and produced only in superior vintages. Antinori is a historic Tuscan family producer.
