Tasting Note
Ripe dark cherry and blackberry with blood-orange lift, violets, tobacco, mocha and vanilla. Silky, savory tannins, fresh acidity and a long, spice-tinged finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Sangiovese blended with Cabernet; fermented on skins, malolactic in barrel, aged ~13 months in predominantly new French oak (small % Hungarian oak) then additional bottle aging.

Produced from the single Tignanello estate (Tenuta Tignanello) owned by Marchesi Antinori; pioneering ‘Super Tuscan’ first made in 1971 on limestone-rich soils with Sangiovese and Bordeaux varieties.
