Tasting Note
Deep black-fruit core of cassis, blackberry and black cherry with violet, cedar, clove and mocha; full-bodied, concentrated, plush tannins and long, spicy finish.

Food Pairing
Western: prime rib, ribeye, braised short ribs, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi), Cantonese roast duck, Szechuan braised beef, char siu.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, optically sorted; fermented in stainless steel, upright fermenters and some new French oak; extended skin contact, in-barrel malo and 22 months aging in French oak (≈90% new).

Beaulieu Vineyard’s flagship, from BV Ranches No.1 & No.2 (Rutherford), originally planted by Georges de Latour in early 1900s; long-standing Napa producer.
