Tasting Note
Concentrated Merlot-led wine with blackberry, cassis, black cherry, dark chocolate, graphite, violet and spice. Dense, full-bodied with ripe, chewy tannins, pronounced toasted oak and a long mineral finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, strict selection and low yields; fermented in temperature-controlled vats and aged 18–24 months in predominantly new French oak. Final blend before bottling; often bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Vineyard Info
Tiny ~2.5 ha Saint-Émilion estate on the limestone plateau, acquired by Gérard Perse in 2001. Very low production (~4,000 bottles/year) and intensive viticulture focused on ageworthy wines.
