Tasting Note
Deep garnet-purple; pure cassis and baked plum with licorice, dark chocolate, tar and pencil-lead notes. Full-bodied, taut and firmly structured with chewy tannins and a minerally finish.

Food Pairing
Grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, aged cheddar (Western); Peking duck, Korean BBQ beef (galbi), char siu, spicy Sichuan beef (Asian).

Production Method
Hand-harvested fruit from Home Vineyard, block-by-block vinification; aged ~20 months in French oak (majority new oak) to build structure.
