Tasting Note
Aromatic red with raspberry, wild strawberry, blueberry, violet and lavender; sea‑shell/mineral and black pepper notes. Bright acidity, silky, fine‑grained tannins and a long, refined, ethereal finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, grilled beef, mushroom risotto, aged Manchego and charcuterie; Korean BBQ (galbi), Cantonese roast duck, char siu, soy‑glazed pork, shiitake soba.

Production Method
Field blend co‑fermented with indigenous yeasts in 3,000L open‑top oak vats; matured 14–16 months in large oak foudre (1,200–1,500L). Organic viticulture and minimal intervention.

Bodega Lanzaga, led by Telmo Rodríguez, works old‑vine, organically farmed Rioja Alavesa sites. Las Beatas is a terraced 1.9‑ha single site producing small, collectible lots.
