Tasting Note
Ethereal, floral red with violets, rose petal, red and blue berry fruit, subtle spice, balsamic herbs and fine mineral thread; silky, filigree tannins and a long, peppery finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, duck breast, mushroom risotto, aged Manchego, venison. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), shiitake stir‑fry, mildly spiced Szechuan beef.

Production Method
Co-fermented field blend using native yeasts; fermented in open oak vats and aged 14–16 months in 1,200‑L French foudres; minimal intervention viticulture.

Single 1.9‑ha terraced vineyard (Las Beatas) in Labastida; mix of very old field‑blend vines and young massal‑selected plantings; restored and managed by Telmo Rodríguez/Bodega Lanzaga.
