Tasting Note
Concentrated blackcurrant, blackberry and plum with rose and violet florals, graphite, tobacco and cool mint. Powerful yet focused, with polished powdery tannins, cedar spice and a long mineral, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, tournedos Rossini, beef or venison, duck confit; Asian pairings: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Szechuan beef, rich beef curries (rendang).

Production Method
Hand-harvested; fermentation in temperature-controlled conical stainless steel vats with 18–21 day maceration and co-inoculation; aged 18–20 months in 100% new French oak; fined with egg white.

Third Growth (1855) estate in Saint-Estèphe, c.55 ha vineyard. Historic Ségur family property now owned by Suravenir; technical direction by Vincent Millet; gravel-clay terroir and high-density planting.
