Tasting Note
Blackcurrant, blackberry and Morello cherry with tobacco, cedar, graphite and saline mineral notes. Medium–full body, bright acidity, polished grainy tannins and a long, savory finish. Ageworthy and balanced.

Food Pairing
Roasted/herb-crusted lamb, beef ribeye, duck confit, mushroom risotto; Asian pairings: Peking duck, char siu, beef bulgogi, braised short ribs, rich mapo tofu.

Production Method
Traditional Bordeaux vinification: fermentations in wood, concrete and stainless vats; ~20 days maceration; malolactic fermentation; aged ~16 months in French oak (c.20–25% new).

Vineyard Info
Second wine of Château Lafite‑Rothschild from the Carruades plateau (estate holdings ca.112 ha on deep gravel and aeolian sands). Carruades plots acquired 1845; estate long history as a top Pauillac producer.
