Tasting Note
Medium-bodied Pauillac showing cassis, blackberry, graphite, cedar, forest-floor and milk-chocolate notes. Elegant and mineral-driven with vibrant acidity, soft-to-moderate tannins and a lifted floral top-note; persistent cedar-chocolate finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, duck breast, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean bulgogi, braised short ribs, Sichuan beef.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; parcel vinification in stainless steel and oak vats; aged approximately 16–20 months in oak (c.80% oak, ~10% new).

Carruades de Lafite is the second wine of Château Lafite Rothschild, produced from selected plots across the estate. Lafite has been under the Rothschild family since 1868 and is a historic First Growth in Pauillac.
