Tasting Note
Perfumed violets, blackberry and ripe plum with cocoa, dark chocolate, white pepper and subtle smoky oak. Concentrated, juicy and elegant with fine, silky tannins, mineral lift and a long, spicy finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled lamb, beef tenderloin, chimichurri steak, aged cheeses (Manchego, Pecorino), mushroom risotto. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Sichuan-style beef/pork, char siu, teriyaki beef, yakitori (grilled chicken skewers).

Production Method
Cold maceration (10–30% whole clusters), 17–28 day ferment, 25–38 day total maceration; aged 15–18 months in French oak (1st–3rd use).

From Catena Zapata's family vineyards (Angélica and Nicasia) using pre-phylloxera massal-selection cuttings; Catena has pioneered high‑altitude Malbec in Mendoza for generations.
