Tasting Note
Deep red‑violet; aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, orange peel, licorice and balsamic herbs. Concentrated, high‑acid palate with rich dark fruit, spice and integrated oak; velvety texture and long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled entrecôte/ribeye, roasted lamb, braised beef, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu, beef ramen, Peking duck, Sichuan braised beef.

Production Method
Hand‑harvested, extremely low yields (~0.5 kg/vine); spontaneous fermentation with extended maceration (≈26–28 days); malolactic fermentation; 24 months in oak (≈28–30% new); bottled unfiltered.

Cesare Bussolo, La Morra native and former Roberto Voerzio collaborator. Roscaleto vineyard sits SE La Morra (~320m) on white clay; 40–45 year vines, organic management, high‑density planting and very limited production.
