Tasting Note
Dense, perfumed red and black cherry, kirsch, violets, licorice and cocoa with distinct mineral lift. Silky yet structured, refined grippy tannins and a long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, beef bourguignon, lamb shoulder, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean bulgogi or grilled short rib, miso-glazed salmon or shiitake-ginger dishes.

Production Method
Sourced from century-old vines (planted 1910); Hommage selects the first bunch on the first shoot. Small-batch fermentation in traditional Burgundian vats with élevage in French oak barrels (limited new oak).

Château de la Tour (François Labet family ownership since 1870), the only domaine inside the Clos de Vougeot. 'Hommage à Jean Morin' created in 2010 to celebrate the old vines; tiny production (a few barrels).
