Tasting Note
Concentrated, perfumed dark cherry, blackcurrant and plum with cocoa, sandalwood, tobacco, licica and forest-floor notes. Powerful yet refined tannins, spicy oak and a long, vibrant finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, duck confit, roast lamb, beef bourguignon, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, miso-glazed fish, shiitake-and-soy dishes, hoisin or five-spice glazed pork.

Production Method
Selected from ~100-year-old vines; hand-harvested, high whole‑bunch percentage (≈80–100%), fermented with natural yeasts using gravity, aged ~18 months in predominantly new oak.

Château de la Tour (Labet family) is the largest owner in Clos de Vougeot. Hommage à Jean Morin is a special cuvée from the oldest vines honoring the family ancestor.
