Tasting Note
Concentrated black-cherry and plum fruit with floral lift, dark chocolate, spice and mineral earth. Full-bodied, layered and muscular with fine-grained but powerful tannins, lively acidity and a long, sapid finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, beef bourguignon, herb-crusted lamb, aged Comté or Gruyère. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), soy-ginger grilled beef, shiitake mushroom hot pot.

Production Method
Hand-harvest from centenary vines (planted c.1910); only first bunches selected for this cuvée. Fermented with significant whole clusters, aged in French oak (portion new), bottled unfiltered; organic viticulture.

Château de la Tour (Labet & Déchelette family) is the principal owner-producer within the Clos de Vougeot; Hommage à Jean Morin launched 2010 from oldest vines as an ultra-limited cuvée (c.1,000 bottles).
