Tasting Note
Layered dark cherry and plum with lifted violets, orange rind, licorice, mineral earth and spice. Concentrated and textural with velvety mid-palate, powdery yet firm tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, rib‑eye or lamb, mushroom risotto, game birds, aged Comté or Gruyère. Asian: Peking duck, char siu/hoisin pork, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), soy‑braised short rib, miso-glazed fish.

Production Method
Selected first bunches from centennial vines; appreciable whole-cluster fermentation; long élevage in oak; organic/biodynamic vineyard practices.

Château de la Tour (Domaine Pierre Labet family). Hommage à Jean Morin debuted in 2010 using oldest Clos de Vougeot vines (planted ~1910); estate led by François and Édouard Labet.
