Tasting Note
Concentrated dark cherry, blackcurrant and plum with violet, truffle, tobacco and cedar; toasted oak spice and a menthol/herbal lift. Firm ripe tannins, vibrant acidity and a long mineral finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, braised beef, venison, duck breast and mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, char siu, miso-glazed aubergine, soy-braised short ribs, Korean bulgogi.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, partial whole-cluster fermentation with daily pigeage; aged 16–20 months in French oak barrels (≈80% new) before blending and bottling.

Vineyard Info
Owned by the Labet family since 1889. Château de la Tour is the largest single owner inside the Clos de Vougeot, with about 5.5 hectares including old-vine parcels.
