Tasting Note
Concentrated dark cherry and raspberry, spice, leather, forest-floor and violet; firm, refined tannins, earthy minerality and a long peppery, tobacco-tinged finish.

Food Pairing
Roast beef, lamb, game (venison), duck confit, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, char siu pork, miso-glazed aubergine, grilled shiitake or beef bulgogi.

Production Method
Hand-harvested fruit, partial whole-bunch fermentation, matured 12–18 months in French oak (portion new). Estate vinification within the Clos; certified organic from 2021.

Château de la Tour owns the largest parcel (~6 ha) inside Clos de Vougeot. Historic, Cistercian-origin site run by the Labet family; produces Cuvée Classique, Vieilles Vignes and rare special cuvées.
