Tasting Note
Concentrated, powerful Pinot Noir: black and red berries, peony, orange peel, sweet spices, tobacco and mineral smoke. Medium-full palate with firm, fine-grained tannins and a long peppery, mint-tinged finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast beef, lamb, venison, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ/beef bulgogi, miso-glazed eggplant or salmon, shiitake stir-fries.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; vinified unstemmed (non-éraflée); aged in oak with extended élevage; certified organic from the 2021 vintage.

Château de la Tour (family Labet) owns the largest single parcel (~6 ha) within Clos de Vougeot and vinifies/matures its wines inside the Clos. Produces Cuvée Classique, Vieilles Vignes (V.V.) and rare Hommage bottlings.
