Tasting Note
Concentrated, layered Pinot Noir: black and red berries, plum, rose petals, orange zest, exotic spice, cigar box and subtle vanilla. Broad, muscular palate with powdery fine tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Roast beef, rack of lamb, venison, duck confit, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese roast pork), Korean BBQ beef, Sichuan beef, teriyaki steak; aged hard cheeses and earthy mushroom dishes.

Production Method
Grapes from centenarian vines are hand‑harvested into baskets; selected bunches (closest to the trunk) are fermented largely whole‑cluster with indigenous yeasts, gravity‑fed vinification and 18 months in oak (≈50% new).

Château de la Tour (Labet family) is the largest single owner within Clos de Vougeot; run by François Labet and his family, the estate concentrates on old vines, organic/biodynamic practices and small, top‑quality cuvées such as this special 'Hommage'.
