Tasting Note
Perfumed Pomerol with concentrated black and blue fruits, violets, graphite and spice. Silky, finely grained tannins, lively freshness and a long mineral, floral finish—elegant yet powerful, ageworthy.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, beef short ribs, duck confit, mushroom risotto, truffle dishes, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (galbi), soy-braised short ribs, beef rendang, miso-glazed eggplant.

Production Method
Hand-harvested and sorted; parcel vinified in small concrete vats; minimal extraction; matured ~18 months in French oak (≈70% new) with ~3% amphora; low yields.

Family-owned by the Nicolas family since 1871. 11.8 ha on clay-gravel soils with iron-rich subsoil. Marielle Cazaux technical director; estate certified ISO 14001 and HVE3.
