Tasting Note
Perfumed black and red berries, violet and truffle notes with hints of star anise and graphite. Silky, medium–full bodied, with precise acidity, fine-grained tannins and an extravagant, long floral-mineral finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, beef ribeye, mushroom risotto, duck confit. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, soy‑braised short ribs, mushroom hot pot (shiitake/wood ear).
Production Method
Hand-harvested; fermented in stainless steel/temperature‑controlled vats; malolactic in tank; aged 16–18 months in ~70% new French oak, 27% one‑use barrels and 3% amphora.

Family-owned Château La Conseillante (Nicolas family), ~9–12 ha, managed recently by Marielle Cazaux. Produces the Grand Vin La Conseillante and second wine Duo de Conseillante; long Pomerol history and modernised cellar.
