Tasting Note
Concentrated dark-red berry and black-cherry fruit with sous-bois, truffle, mineral and spice. Silky, ripe tannins, vivid acidity and a long cola-tinged finish—powerful yet refined.

Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, lamb, beef short rib, mushroom risotto, aged Comté or Gruyère. Asian: Peking duck, miso‑glazed black cod or salmon, beef bulgogi, shiitake soba, char siu.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, destemmed with gentle extraction; fermented in vats with controlled temperatures; aged ~15–18 months in French oak (c.50–66% new for grands crus); bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Vineyard Info
Domaine Coquard-Loison-Fleurot is a family estate (Flagey‑Échezeaux) owning several Grand Cru parcels. Thomas Collardot leads winemaking since the 2010s; domaine began domaine-bottling c.2009–2010.
