Tasting Note

Bright citrus and white-peach notes with intense gunflint/mineral flint character, exotic stone fruits, subtle vanilla/oak, fine acidity and a long, chalky, saline finish.

Western: oysters, grilled langoustine, lemon-roasted poultry, smoked trout, goat cheese. Asian: sushi/sashimi, sashimi-style seafood, Vietnamese ­herb-forward seafood, Thai lemongrass fish, miso-glazed cod.

Production Method

Hand-harvested, low-yield vines; native-yeast fermentation with élevage in cigar-shaped oak, barrels and neutral vessels, extended lees aging before bottling; biodynamic/organic practices.

Vineyard Info

Founded by Didier Dagueneau; now run by his children (Louis‑Benjamin/Benjamin and Charlotte). Small estate (~12 ha) on flint/clay sites in Saint‑Andelain, famed for intense sauvignon.
