Tasting Note
Bright, complex white with candied citrus, white flowers, pear and hazelnut, subtle vanilla/spice from oak and a saline, persistent finish. Medium‑to‑full bodied with satiny texture and focused minerality.

Food Pairing
Western: lobster with vanilla butter, turbot/beurre blanc, poached chicken, foie gras, mushroom risotto. Asian: miso‑glazed black cod, steamed fish with ginger & scallion, tempura or sushi (fatty fish), Cantonese steamed crab.

Production Method
Biodynamic/sustainable viticulture; 100% hand-harvested, pneumatic pressing, 24h settling. Fermentation and malolactic in French oak (≈25% new); ~12 months in barrel followed by ~6 months in tank, minimal fining/light filtration.

Domaine Leflaive, family estate since 1717 and a pioneer of biodynamics in Puligny‑Montrachet. Owns a single 1.15 ha parcel planted 1958–59 in Bienvenues‑Bâtard‑Montrachet.
