Tasting Note
Concentrated cassis, blackcurrant and blueberry with violet florals, cedar, tobacco, pencil lead and dark chocolate. Very firm, ripe tannins, saline minerality and a long, layered finish.

Roast lamb, ribeye or beef tenderloin, venison, aged hard cheeses (Comté, Manchego); Asian: Peking duck, Cantonese roasted meats, Korean BBQ (galbi), braised beef with soy and star anise, shiitake mushroom stir-fry.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, parcel-fermented, aged ~18 months in 100% new French oak barriques; strict selection, egg-white fining and light filtration prior to bottling.

Château Ducru‑Beaucaillou, a classified 1855 Deuxième Cru owned by the Borie family since 1941 (Bruno Borie managing), ~75 ha on Günzian gravel; farmed with modern/organic practices since 2018.
