Tasting Note
Dense black‑berry and plum fruit with spicy cloves, aniseed and touches of dark chocolate and licorice; concentrated, brooding and structured with ripe, firm tannins and a long finish.

Production Method
Hand‑picked from a single 1915 block; fermented with extended skin contact in large closed vessels (~1500L) and matured in French oak (selected new barrels) for ~18–24 months. Small limited bottling.

Vineyard Info
Elderton is a family-owned Barossa producer founded by Neil and Lorraine Ashmead (1979); the Helbig block in Greenock was planted in 1915 and joined Elderton’s portfolio after acquisition. Managed by the Ashmead family and winemaking team.
