Tasting Note
Dense black cherry and plum with notes of truffle, violet and graphite; dark chocolate, espresso and licorice nuances. Polished, firm tannins, fresh lift and a long mineral-spiced finish.

Western: roast lamb, ribeye, duck confit, aged hard cheeses (Comté, Manchego). Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu (BBQ pork), mushroom hot pot, soy-braised beef short ribs.
Production Method
Hand-harvested; traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats with gentle maceration; élevage 16–18 months in 50% new French oak.

Owned by Établissements Jean‑Pierre Moueix; 18.7 ha on the Pomerol plateau. First acquired by Moueix in 1950. HVE3-certified; vines average ~35 years.
