Tasting Note
Concentrated black-cherry and plum core with violet, cocoa, cigar-box and mineral earth notes; silky, opulent texture, polished ripe tannins and a long savory finish.

Western: roast lamb, ribeye steak, venison, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (BBQ pork), Korean BBQ short ribs, braised beef with Sichuan pepper.

Production Method
Hand-harvested with double sorting (manual and optical); fermented in thermo-regulated concrete and stainless vats with gentle maceration; aged 16–18 months in French oak (≈50% new).

Owned by Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix; 18.7 ha on the Pomerol plateau. First acquired by Jean‑Pierre Moueix in 1950; Merlot-dominant, high-quality Pomerol estate.
