Blackcurrant and blackberry with violet and cedar; graphite, crushed herbs and dark spice. Concentrated core, firm fine tannins and a saline, long finish

Hand-harvested (Sept 7–27), ~4-week cuvaison; élevage ~12–18 months in 50% new French oak; estate blended.

Cru Classé de Graves in Pessac-Léognan; Wilmers family owners since 1998, managed by Véronique Sanders. Estate ~39 ha (30 ha in red). Known for elegance and refined tannins.
