Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, venison, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi), char siu pork, Sichuan pepper beef, hoisin-roast duck, rich Malaysian rendang.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Shiraz fermented in open-top fermenters; matured ~16 months in French (70%) and American (30%) hogsheads, majority new oak; bottled under Stelvin or cork depending on release.
Vineyard Info
Flagship wine from Jim Barry’s Armagh vineyard, planted by Jim Barry in 1968 in Clare Valley; low-yield, highly regarded single-vineyard Shiraz with long family winemaking history.
