Tasting Note

Bright garnet with violet highlights. Ripe red and black cherry, blackberry, floral violet, sweet spice and forest-floor notes; silky texture, fine tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Food Pairing

Western: roast duck, herb‑crusted lamb, mushroom risotto, aged Comté or Brie. Asian: Peking duck, miso-glazed salmon, char siu (Cantonese roast pork), soy/ginger braised mushrooms.

Production Method

Hand-harvested Pinot Noir; partial whole clusters, gentle extraction in vats; matured ~16 months in French oak (40–50% new). Minimal intervention to preserve terroir expression.

Domaine Faiveley, founded 1825 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, is a multi-generational Burgundy house (Erwan Faiveley leadership). Owns/works many Premier and Grand Cru sites; modernized viticulture with sustainable practices.
