Tasting Note
Intense, precise Riesling: lemon, lime, white peach, quince, and wet stone with floral and saline minerality, racy acidity and an extremely long, chalky finish.

Oysters, scallops, grilled fish, roast chicken, white asparagus (western); sushi/sashimi, tempura, Thai green curry, Szechuan-spiced dishes, pork belly (asian). Also pairs with aged goat cheese and lightly spiced vegetarian dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, low-yield fruit from Abts E. Spontaneous fermentation on indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and large neutral oak (Mosel fuder), aged 12–18 months; minimal intervention and limited sulfur.

Weingut Keller (family since 1789) led by Klaus‑Peter Keller since 2001. Abts E (Abtserde) is a prized Westhofen single-vineyard source producing top-tier Grosse Gewächs Rieslings.
