Tasting Note
Silky, full-bodied Pomerol showing dark cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry compote, subtle violet and crushed stone, with cedar/tobacco oak influence, polished tannins and a long, plush finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck confit, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, red-braised pork, braised beef short ribs, shiitake hot pot.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Merlot and Cabernet Franc; fermented in temperature-controlled vats with malolactic fermentation; aged ~18 months in French oak (≈70% new).

Historic Pomerol estate owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) since 1990; small-production, Merlot-dominant vineyards near Pétrus and Cheval Blanc.
