Tasting Note
Concentrated black cherry, blackberry and cassis with garrigue, black pepper, cedar and graphite; full-bodied, ripe fine-grained tannins and long, spicy finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roasted leg of lamb, braised beef, entrecôte, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (galbi), Sichuan beef with black bean sauce.
Production Method
Hand‑harvested, co-fermented (mostly whole-bunch/not destemmed), malolactic fermentation, aged ~12 months partly in large oak foudres and ~28% new barriques.

Château La Nerthe, one of Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape’s oldest estates (archives to 1560). Selection from very old vines (c.80–85+ years); estate is certified organic (Ecocert/AB).
